Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese & Korean dishes
- Ensure the highest quality and presentation of food according to restaurant standards.
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, including prep work, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
- Work efficiently and effectively under pressure, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking methods and menu changes.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
